Red skies over London
In the space of a few minutes on the afternoon of 16 October 2017, wind-borne sand from the Sahara turned the skies of London a brownish-red colour more reminiscent of Mars.

A House in Bayswater
'A House in Bayswater' was a 1960 documentary by Ken Russell, in which we met the varied tenants of 30-32 Linden Gardens, Bayswater. Occupants included the future Magnum photographer David Hurn, shown photographing an almost naked model in order to make ends meet. It was obviously a tough existence! The film claims that the house was eventually demolished, but it exists to this day.

Parthenon of Books
The Parthenon of Books was an art work at the documenta 14 art festival at Kassel, Germany. It is the work of Argentinian artist Marta Minujín, who constructed this replica of the Athens monument using 100,000 once-banned books.
